My career began in the late 1980s as an Engineer, working for Multiplex on commercial sites in Perth.
This invaluable experience lead me to my next position as a Building Supervisor on residential premises for BGC.
I became a registered builder in 1994, building houses and units for various clients around the state. At this time I also opened a steel fabrication business, designing and building steel sub floor structures to give level platforms on steep sloping blocks. These were carried out with a building license, it included designing and installing footings, steel work, flooring and decking.
In 2004, after success in the residential sector, I commenced fabrication and installation of steel work on mining sites around W.A. Including areas such as Barrow Island, Wheatestone, Brockman, Karratha, Port Hedland and Newman.
Expanding on my skills, during 2005 to 2010, I obtained a High Risk License to be able to carry out Dogging, Rigging, Scaffolding, Tilt Panel Erection and Supervision, and Elevated Work Platform Operations.
In 2015 I teamed up with Michael Rea, working in construction, building and maintenance on residential and commercial building in W.A.

I began my career in carpentry/construction at ATCO, building the extensive fleet of transportable site accommodation and office demountable buildings that were deployed quickly to the Northwest mining sites, (mainly the Argyle diamond mine).
My five years at ATCO allowed me to hone my construction skills and ability to problem solve as well as effectively communicate ideas and concepts. It lead me to realize that a career as a General Contractor was my calling.
I’m a general contractor for Alcoa, it has been a successful partnership for some twenty years now and still counting. I have completed the commercial construction and fit-out for Alcoa’s head office relocation to Booragoon, the construction of the Barbara Rowley conference centre at the Fairbridge village Pinjarra and I continue to provide construction and maintenance services for their rental properties in Pinjarra.
I also have a general contracting partnership with Bedshed, one of Australia’s largest specialist mattress, bedding and bedroom furniture retailers, I fit-out showroom displays for their network of stores in Western Australia.
I bring a comprehensive range of construction skills and point of view to my clients. My years of construction experience have given me a strong background in the structural mechanics of modern building. Whether I am working on a new home or remodel, I combine that knowledge with strong visualization skills, and an artistic flair.
I work collaboratively with my clients to make every project a rewarding experience for all.
